ERP AND PRODUCTIVITY

ERP with Odoo to connect management and work with more control

Sales, operations, finance and teams should not work with different versions of the business.

Odoo connects sales, operations, finance and teams with a shared view

WHEN INFORMATION DOESN’T FLOW

Disconnection turns into extra work, errors and late decisions

Activity goes on, but information remains scattered across the ERP, spreadsheets, emails and tools that don’t always communicate.

  1. 01

Information is recorded more than once

Each team keeps its own data and spends time checking which is correct.

  2. 02

Dates are promised without knowing the whole operation

Sales doesn’t always have a reliable view of stock, purchasing or capacity.

  3. 03

    Operations and finance react late

Needs and deviations are detected when they have already affected the next step of the process.

  4. 04

    Reports start by reconciling information

Before deciding, you have to gather data, review differences and confirm what happened.

THE CONNECTED PROCESS

An order doesn’t end in sales

A sales transaction triggers decisions in several areas. When the system reflects the complete journey, each team can act with more context.

  1. 01

    Sale

    Quotation and order

  2. 02

    Availability

    Stock and commitments

  3. 03

    Procurement

    Purchase, reservation or production

  4. 04

    Picking and delivery

    Movements and status

  5. 05

    Invoicing and control

    Revenue, costs and deviations

  6. 06

    Decision

    Data from real activity

WHERE TO START

Not every company needs to start from scratch

01 · IMPLEMENT

You need a new ERP

The current system no longer lets you connect processes, control operations or support growth.

See Odoo implementation →
02 · EVOLVE

You already have Odoo, but it doesn’t work as it should

There are issues, processes outside the system, conflicting customizations or insufficient adoption.

Rescue and evolve Odoo →
03 · DIAGNOSE

You need to understand the problem before deciding

We analyse the process to determine whether to implement, stabilize, integrate or prioritize a first improvement.

HOW WE WORK

Connecting the company takes more than configuring apps

We work on the complete journey, from the source of the data to the decision it should support.

  1. 01

    Diagnosis and priorities

    Processes, information, exceptions and risks.

  2. 02

    Architecture and scope

    Systems, responsibilities and dependencies.

  3. 03

    Configuration and integration

Standard first, development when it adds value.

  4. 04

    Validation and go-live

Key users, data, training and support.

  5. 05

    Stabilization and evolution

Follow-up based on real activity and new priorities.

A well-prepared go-live

After two previous implementations that did not deliver the expected results, Garsaco needed to connect sales, purchasing, logistics, invoicing and accounting in a stable system.

Studio73 implemented Odoo in phases, validated processes with key users and prepared the team before go-live.

The implementation plan

  • Phased implementation
  • Validation with key users
  • Training before go-live

Result

Master data was imported on a Friday and by the following Monday Garsaco was already operating on Odoo.

Without stopping warehouse activity during the migration.
  • More reliable inventory.
  • Fewer errors between purchasing, stock and invoicing.
  • More visibility and coordination between areas.

FAQ

Do we have to replace all our current systems?

No. We analyse which processes should be centralized in Odoo, which tools still add value and which systems need to be connected. The goal is to build a coherent architecture, not to replace applications on principle. The decision depends on each tool’s function, data, integrations and maintenance cost.

Can Odoo be implemented in phases?

Yes. The project can be organized by areas, processes or milestones, as long as dependencies are defined from the start. Splitting the implementation does not mean working with isolated departments. The data model, shared processes, owners and future connections must be considered from the first phase.

How do you decide between standard Odoo and specific development?

We compare the need with Odoo’s capabilities, configuration options, reusable solutions, OCA and the Studio73 Layer. We prioritize the standard when it solves the process properly. Specific development is reserved for relevant needs that cannot be covered adequately and maintainably with the available alternatives.

What happens to the data from the previous system?

First we define which information must be kept and at what level of detail. Then we review its quality, set transformation rules and run tests before moving it. The migration must avoid duplicates, errors and structures that no longer match the current way of working. It is not always necessary to move the entire history.

Can Odoo be integrated with ecommerce, marketplaces or logistics platforms?

It can be feasible when the applications involved offer APIs, connectors or other suitable connection mechanisms. The design must establish which system owns each piece of data, how often information is synchronized, how errors are handled and how process traceability is maintained.

Can you work on an existing Odoo implementation?

Yes. We analyse the configuration, data, performance, developments, permissions and integrations to identify what should be fixed, kept or evolved. The result may be a stabilization plan, a prioritized improvement or a migration. We don’t assume that everything built needs to be replaced.

How do we know whether Odoo is really improving productivity?

First we define what should improve and how it can be observed. For example, the number of duplicate records, manual steps, the time needed to find information or the number of issues in a process. The comparison is only useful if there is baseline data, people responsible for validation and a long enough period to observe real operation.
